Federal Assembly to find haven near the Kremlin walls

The new Parliamentary Complex being planned to accommodate both chambers of the Federal Assembly — State Duma and Federation Council — could be located closer to the Kremlin, the Moscow chief architect, Alexander Kuzmin, one of the state officials overseeing the project in the city government, said in an interview to RG. 

Such statement means that city authorities are now leaning toward locating the complex near the Kremlin. However, Kuzmin specifically noted that he only voiced the position of the Moscow government, as the federal authorities’ consent has yet to be received on the issue.
