Five-star Lotte Hotel Moscow staffed and ready for operations

Personnel solves all issues  


The appointments of the top managerial staff in the five-star Lotte Hotel Moscow, which is affiliated with South Korea’s Lotte Group and scheduled for opening in early 2010, have been completed. According to the Group, Arie Aizenshtat, with the corresponding education in hotel management and rich professional experience in the field of hotel business, was appointed as general manager of the hotel. A graduate of the University of Houston and the Hotel & Restaurant Management School in Texas, Aizenshtat started his carrier at Hyatt in the F&B Department, and later moved on to work at Sheraton, Holiday Inn chain and Renaissance Aktau Hotel, etc.


Also filled are the positions of deputy general managers in Jason S. Cho and Konstantin Goryainov, both of whom also have extensive experience in the field of hotel business and hotel management. “I see my major task in this new position as getting the first hotel that is affiliated with the superior deluxe Asian hotel chain ready for operations on the Moscow elite hotels market, where it aims to become a leader,” Goryainov said.


The Lotte Group is one of the largest business conglomerates in South Korea comprising over 50 companies that are engaged in different spheres of activities such as confectionery, fast food, financial services, electronics, construction, trade, publishing and the entertainment industries. The group’s companies have branches and offices in Japan, China, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, India, the United States and Russia.


Located in the very heart of Moscow on Arbat Street, Lotte Hotel Moscow, the first Lotte Group’s hotel in Russia, will provide guests with 304 luxury rooms and services of restaurants, bars, conference halls, club, fitness club, a pool and spa facilities. The total amount of investment in the Lotte Hotel Moscow stood at $320mln, while investments in another Moscow-based hotel of this chain, which will be located on Profsoyuznaya Street, are expected at $135mln.
