Vladimir Kolokoltsev, the new head of the Moscow Police Department, has outlined his programs, where he listed “an uncompromising struggle against ‘uniformed rascals’ and creation of normal labor conditions for decent employees” among his top priorities. “The principles will underlie my activity,” the police major general, known for his reputation as an irreconcilable corruption fighter, noted at his first press conference.
The police chief listed efficiency, productivity and decency among his key criteria for evaluating employees’ performances. “An employee, who deserves praise, will receive certainly it,” he said, noting, however, that conversations with corrupt employees will be short and unequivocal. “I have enough determination to get rid of all ‘rascals’ and fight those, who will continue to spoil the police reputation.”
