Ararat Park Hyatt Moscow hires a Food & Beverage director

Restaurant Services Guru

Ararat Park Hyatt Moscow has appointed Michel Wittwer as its new food and beverage (F&B) director to oversee the hotel’s restaurant services department, notably, the Park Restaurant, Ararat Cafe, Enoki Sushi Bar, Neglinka Cafe and Conservatory Bar, as well as banquette and floor services department.

Since graduating from Vieux Bois, the Geneva-based, Switzerland hotel management school, in 1997, Wittwer has served in different positions in various hotels in several international locations, which, prior to the latest appointment, had included China, Kyrgyzstan, Almaty in Kazakhstan and Montreal in Canada.

Wittwer is known for his readiness to tackle all professional challenges head-on. A quality he displayed, when offered two options, Kyrgyzstan or Chicago in the United States, on joining the Hyatt team in 2002 for further career development, he chose the former, saying he wanted to “try himself in a new and challenging environment.” He started working in Kyrgyzstan as a restaurant manager, where he was soon promoted to an assistant F&B director. “Ararat Park Hyatt Moscow is pleased to welcome Wittwer to its team,” the hotel management said in an official statement on the new appointment.
