Wild Orchid’s fate to be decided at a bankruptcy case hearing in December

The Moscow Arbitration Court will hear on December 9 the bankruptcy case filed by Evromoda against Wild Orchid Co., the owner of a chain of ladies lingerie shops in Russia.

The plaintiff is one of the company’s suppliers. Commenting on the plaintiff’s action, Anton Sergeyev, Wild Orchid Co.’s press secretary, noted that Evromoda is one of the few companies that Wild Orchid had not been able to negotiate prolongation of debts due to a busy work schedule. “We hope to reach an out-of-court decision with the plaintiff, as we plan to hold negotiations and resolve all problems without seeking court’s help.”

Fielding questions on the size of the debts and the their possible implications for Wild Orchid’s operation, Sergeyev specifically noted that the sum of debts to the plaintiff is not critical, and besides, Wild Orchid has all the financial means to fully repay them.
