Government to start drafting three-year plans for state properties privatization

Three-Year Policy

Briefing journalists after a government meeting, Economic Development Minister Elvira Nabiullina said the government plans to turn to a three-year planning policy on privatization and has already developed the corresponding bills. “We are proposing three-year programs. We have already prepared the bills that envisage a long-term planning policy in place of the current policy of drawing up plans for privatization every year.” And, commenting on the current year, the minister said the revenues from privatization will total over 100bln rubles and not the previously forecast 70bln rubles.
