Fight against Corruption

Demonstrating his determination to end corruption in the country or, at least, put it under control, Russian president has appointed Cabinet chief of staff Sergei Sobyanin the coordinator of efforts to draft efficiency parameters of state measures against corruption and the resources being allocated for such purposes. “I believe that there should be some consistency in this work. The most important thing is that such parameters should be realistic,” he noted. “I ask you to look and, whenever possible, optimize the criteria for assessing the effectiveness of government officials’ work in this direction.”
