The Taganrog Congress Hotel, an affiliate of the Don Plaza hotel chain, has continued to please its clients with true values and ‘soft’ prices. The spring has brought a ‘thaw in prices,’ leading to significant reduction of rates in all the hotel’s rooms and services categories.
The management said this was a conscious step that made the hotel even closer to its clients and showed its true southern hospitality. “Traditionally, the arrival of a holiday season leads to price hikes in hotels in resort cities. But we, on the contrary, are opening our doors to clients,” Lyudmila Anikin, the hotel’s manager said, commenting on the new price policy decision. “Taganrog is an amazing city on the coast of the Azov Sea, which offers opportunities for excellent rest, cognitive tourism and business.”
Taganrog Congress Hotel CEO Alexei Svetlov said the hotel has on average lowered its rates for the spring and summer seasons in 2010 by up to 40%. “This is a very bold decision, as this has made the prices of high-quality services cost more than moderate,” he added. “However, this does not worry us, because it is more important for us today to present our hotel as a democratic and hospitable platform, allow our visitors to ‘taste’ our services and get long-term partners and friends.”
