Voloshin appointed head of a Working Group to create a financial center in Russia

Alexander Voloshin has been appointed the head of a Working Group tasked with the creation of an international financial center (IFC) in Russia. The official edicts were signed by the Russian president in July, the Kremlin said. The group, whose activities will also be coordinated by First Deputy Premier Igor Shuvalov, is under the Presidential Council overseeing the development of financial markets in Russia. Also, a special center, in the form of a nonprofit institution, will be set up to carry out analysis of financial markets to help promote the creation of the IFC in Russia.
