Putin’s Revelation

Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said he was pleased with the responsible behavior of Russia’s large businesses during the global crisis. “I’ve always critically related to owners/CEOs of large businesses. This is why the behaviors of several business representatives at the peak of the crisis in 2009, frankly speaking, delighted, and even surprised me.”

Specifically, Putin noted that for him it was ‘really strange and unexpected’ that most business owners showed a high level of responsibility instead of greed during the crisis. “They were even ready to sacrifice their capital, time and, without exaggeration, even their destinies.”
