Meeting at the sidelines of the Global Policy Forum in Yaroslavl, President Dmitry Medvedev and South Korean President Lee Myung-bak discussed various ways of giving greater dynamism to the productive bilateral strategic cooperation between their countries. Medvedev thanked his guest for the consent to participate in the forum. “I see it as a sign of the kind relations and a symbol indicating that high-level and goodhearted partnership has been developed between us.”
The South Korean president, from his part, noted that this year marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Moscow and Seoul. “The history of our relations is rather short, but despite this, we have managed to develop broad cooperation in all spheres of economy, politics and international collaboration. Therefore I look at further development of our mutual relations with optimism.”
