The management of the Kempinski Hotel Group has appointed Gerhard E. Mitrovits its new area director for Russia and other CIS countries. Since 2010, this seasoned hospitality business executive with over 40 years in the industry has been in charge of Hotel Baltschug Kempinski Moscow, a member of the Leading Hotels of the World, which offers 230 rooms and suites of the first international 5-star hotel in the Russian capital.

“With continuous growth of Kempinski hotel group in Eastern Europe, Mitrovits as the group’s area director will be now also overseeing upcoming openings as well as the operations of existing portfolio in Russia and CIS,” the company said.
