A real Russian-styled Facility

The Hotel InterContinental Moscow Tverskaya, slated for opening later this year in place of the demolished former Minsk Hotel in central Moscow, will be a real ‘Russia-styled’ hospitality facility, Alexei Volov, the hotel’s sales and marketing director, said at the recently concluded MITF-2011 conference in Moscow. “The hotel concept designers wanted a facility that stands apart from the city’s collection of luxury brands,” he noted. “Therefore a decision was taken to make the hotel ‘a truly Moscow hospitality facility,’ with thematic that highlights legends of Russian ballet, SPA services reminiscent of Russian sauna traditions and microexcursions to the city’s unique landmarks.
