EU and Russia to finalize conditions for a historic abolition of visas

Moscow and Brussels have announced their intents to endorse the list of conditions for a visa-free regime between Russia and EU states at the next EU-Russia Summit in December, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said. “We have finalized the list of reciprocal steps that we and our European partners must take in order to create all the conditions needed for the transition to a visa-free regime,” he added. “This list will hopefully be approved at next summit between Russia and EU in Brussels.” This issue has been on EU-Russia’s agenda for a long time.
