Vladimir Putin, the Russian president-elect, who also doubles as the nation’s prime minister, has instructed his team to formulate a realistic ‘road map’ for implementing his campaign promises after the inauguration. Before the election, he published seven huge articles, which covered all the aspects of Russia’s public life. “All the strategic objectives laid down in the election campaign need to be implemented while maintaining the macroeconomic stability in the country,” he said. “In this regard, all proposed measures should be supported by appropriate funding and must not jeopardize our macroeconomic stability.”
