The Ulyanovsk Regional Administration, Ulyanovsk Regional Development Corp. and the Aviakor building corporation in April penned a trilateral agreement that envisages the construction of a Hilton-branded hotel and shopping entertainment center in Ulyanovsk. Apart from 175 comfortable rooms, the facility is also expected to offer a modern business center with conference halls and amenities for negotiations with areas ranging from 20sqm to 200sqm.
Tatiana Fadeyeva, the manager for communications at Ulyanovsk Regional Development Corp., says all the legal and land documents necessary to launch the construction of the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel in the city are now ready. Aviakor will design and build the property in accordance with the standard Hilton Worldwide requirements on its properties. The minimum volume of investments has been estimated at 775mln. rubles. According to the preliminary plan, the construction of the facility will begin this autumn, it will come on-stream in 2012 and is expected to reach its projected capacities by 2014.
