War on Narcomania  

President Medvedev has advised Russia’s law enforcement agencies to target one more direction in the war against narcomania, telling the Narcotics Directorate leadership to toughen legal liability of proprietors of night clubs indulging in sales of narcotics. “One more direction of our efforts on the war against drugs will be entertainment facilities. Legal liability for selling drugs in such joints will no longer be borne by club directors, but their real owners,” Medvedev noted. “In this way, the closure of such facilities will not only hurt the club directors, but also the business interests of their proprietors.”
