Business representatives told not go into politics for self-enrichment sake

Speaking in May at a meeting with young Russian parliamentarians, President Medvedev urged business executives to not use politics as a means for self-enrichment. “There is nothing wrong with someone first making money for his/her political careers and later leaving business for politics, as it is done in other countries,” he noted. “But such politicians should not use politics for self-enrichment enrichment. In any case, they should try to refrain from or minimize such opportunities. This is an element of political culture that is to very low in Russia.”
