Another indication that the company has really become a household brand name among clients is the fact that it has developed into a ‘sort of family tailor’ for some its clients, sewing suits for family members of different ages and generations. “Recently, I had what I call my ‘golden day’ in my life career as a tailor. One of my clients long-time ago once brought his son to my salon for a suit and he also became a regular client. Earlier this year, the client brought his son for a suit. I have long got used to sewing for fathers and children, but this occasion was my first time of sewing for a father, his son and grandson, a whole dynasty covering three different generations.”
The highlights of the ceremony will the official premiere presentation of The Imperial Tailoring Co.’s anniversary collection of business suites, titled, “My Astro Tailor: Seven Years and Seven Planets.” The theme of the collection,” according to Kotwani, “is specially scripted to coincide with the figure ‘7’ in the “seventh anniversary” and it envisages a practical application of the astrological and numerological importance of this figure, including the date of holding the event, which is Oct. 7, in the designs of the suites.” Specifically, the theme of the collection is based on the ancient Vedic Astrological concept which says that people’s behaviors and fates are defined by seven planets, notably, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn and Sun.
Consequently, My Astro Tailor Collection will feature suites designed according to the colors and astrological specificities of each planet, and will be symbolically linked to the colors of each day of the week. “All these steps,” according to ancient Vedic Astrology, always bring success, prosperity and joy to the owners of such suites,” Kotwani explained. “Other central activities at the evening’s event will include entertainment shows, including live performances from local and international artists, festive banquet, astrological business forecasts by an Indian astrology guru, “cosmic performances” by renowned Radaga Vishnu, raffle draws for some of the anniversary prizes, including a Grand Prix of suit made from the elite Dormeuil textile valued at one million rubles.
