Source: Rosstat

Salaries in Russia grew in nominal terms in the first half of 2025 (H1’25), or from January to June, by 14.5% year-on-year, according to the recently published data of the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat).

The average monthly accrued salary of employees in June 2025 totaled 103,200 rubles, which, compared to the same period in 2024, represented a double-digit increase of 15%. Real salaries in June 2025 increased to 5.1% year-on-year from 4.2% in May, and by 4.1% at the end of H1’25 and 4.6% at the end Q2’25, Rosstat said.

Real salaries mean the average accrued salaries adjusted for the rate of inflation in the country. Rosstat collates and processes the government’s official statistical data on the major economic, social, demographic, ecological, political and other important processes in the country.
