Absolute incomes transparency central to fighting Russia's endemic corruption
The absolute transparency of the sources of all incomes of civil servants and heads of government-owned enterprises is central to successfully fighting against the endemic corruption that has for long characterized every facet of public service and corporate activities in this great nation. This is why the new resolution aimed at plugging the gaping loophole in the existing directive that did not contain a requirement for mandatory public disclosure of such information is positive giant step in the right direction. Therefore, those who feel uncomfortable about disclosing the origin of their wealth while in public service do not deserve to serve the nation. Such people ought to go to other spheres where scrutiny about the legality of wealth is less stringent or fully absent.
