Russia's new cabinet set to execute Putin’s economic and political reforms

The new cabinet has been tasked with fast-tracking the execution of the multi-trillion ruble overhaul of the country that will involve practically all aspects of life. full digitalization of the local economy from 2019 to 2024 at an estimated budget of not less than RUB 1.63trn; raise the living standards of the citizens and pursue other policies that failed to materialized under the previous government. The new cabinet includes several new faces, while the key members of the previous government of ex-Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, such as Foreign Affairs Minister Sergei Lavrov, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, Internal Affairs Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev and Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, retained their positions, though the latter lost his first deputy premiership title.
