Former Moscow's Ukraine Hotel, rebranded ‘Radisson Royal Hotel’ after major reconstruction, has been rated among the world’s best new hotels by Conde Nast Traveller, one of the most authoritative journals in hotel ratings. The main condition for making this list envisages that hotels, apart from high quality service, should be new and started operation in 2010.

This year, 65 hotels from 31 countries made the list. Commenting on the rating, the journal noted that this year’s list includes hotels built in places that were recently homes to villages, but which have been transformed into elegant hotels and skyscrapers with business centers and other modern conveniences of civilization.
