Moscow and Amman in April once again confirmed their mutual interest in further deepening the spheres of cooperation within their existing strategic partnership. According to Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, it is not only the economy that is of mutual interest for Moscow and Amman. “We also have ties in culture, education, tourism, nuclear power, railway construction and infrastructure,” he added. “And, certainly, we are ready to continue cooperation in the defense sphere and several other directions.”
From his part, King of Jordan Abdulla II noted that he very much appreciates the productive relations between Moscow and Amman. “As already noted, there several spheres and opportunities for bilateral cooperation. Specifically, for Russian companies, there are many business spheres in Jordan, where we can cooperate fruitfully,” he added. “And I hope that my visit will enable us open new opportunities for deepening the ongoing cooperation between our countries.”
