The Customs Union troika devises mechanisms to protect market against unfair competition

Customs Union (CU) trio - Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan - has established administrative structures for the protection of its common market, where cases of unfair competition use are being investigated cases, Eurasian Economic Commission Head Viktor Khristenko said. "We have been working for several months with our partners to develop and adopt a new common customs tariff.

This is a large document that takes into account all areas regulating access to our market,” he said. "We're learning to use new arsenal of tools to protect the three countries markets. Today, all these administrative structures and mechanisms are in final stages of their creation. “Unified customs tariff will take effect in CU when Russia joins the WTO,  from August 23.
